Visitation and Study about Choir in University of Muhammadiyah Malang

Citizenry—On November 17^th, Golden Student Choir of University of Trunojoyo Madura goes to Malang. For about sixty members join this trip. They are willing to take the long trip from Madura to Malang for visiting Gitasurya Student Choir of University of Muhammadiyah Malang and also studying about choir. As we know, Gitasurya Student Choir is one of Student Choir that has many achievements. They often follow choir competitions, from regional, national and even international range. At least they have followed choir competition in abroad for two times and got some achievements. That’s why Golden Student Choir chooses this organization for our visitation.

We go to Malang at 04.30 am and arrive there at 09.00 directly through to the next agenda which is meeting between these two choir organizations. The meeting was started by opening, then continued to speech by the chief of Gitasurya Student Choir, speech by representation of Golden Student Choir, a brief explanation about each organization, choir practice simulation from each, sharing-hearing in every division, games, giving souvenir from each other and finished by taken picture together. Of course, much of knowledge which gotten by Golden Student Choir from this meeting.

The preparation for this agenda for about a week because it all of sudden. “I hope this meeting can built better relation with other student choir organization, add more knowledge about choir and be a correction for the next plan. The main point is to make Golden Student Choir better and better in the next, not only in choir ability but also in organization,” said Novalinda as the chief of committee. (UCN\NP)
